How much does it cost?
Prices vary according to the total square footage, products selected, layout patters, excavation, among other unique factors.Do you have a showroom?
Tucson is our showroom. We have an extensive list of addresses to completed jobs and referral letters that we can share with you. What are the differences between concrete, stamped concrete and pavers?
The cost of materials and installation are different, with pavers being the more expensive option. Installation time is similar, because it will take days for cement to dry, or for a crew to install the pavers. The pavers are more durable, resistant to stain, and are not likely to crack. Concrete typically cracks in time as the ground expands and contracts due to seasonal climatic changes. Pavers cost more up front, but maintenance is low, cracks are unlikely, and should an area become stained or damaged, the pavers can be removed and replaced instantly. Is sealant necessary?
No, but having sealant certainly has its advantages. Sealant will add beauty and protection from common elements such as ultraviolet rays, which may cause fading over time. Sealant will prevent stains from penetrating the pavers, so that they can be washed clean. Certain sealants will create a “wet” look, while others will enhance and deepen the color of the pavers. Can Pavers be laid on top of asphalt or cement?
Sometimes yes, but it depends on various factors, such as height from home to ground, pool to pool-deck, etc. The determination would need to be made during a private estimate. What are the advantages of interlocking pavers?
UNIQUE: They add elegance and uniqueness to your home. Pavers have the widest selection of colors, textures, shapes and sizes and they are suitable for indoor or outdoor flooring. Besides beauty, they have the strongest PSI (press per square inch), and are the most durable surfacing product available. Architects prefer pavers for their durability, flexibility, safety and favorable environmental impact, while creating distinguished character from one site to the next.CRACK-RESISTANT: Pavers are individual units, so the natural joints in between each paver allows for expansion and contraction, eliminating the cracking inherent to conventional asphalt and concrete pavements. Unlike pavers, stamped and poured concrete are more porous, so they tend to crack and absorb stains very easily.
STAIN RESISTANT: Pavers are made of highly compressed slightly damp concrete with color mixed in. They are the most stain-resistant surfacing product available, and can be cleaned with light detergents. For stain-proof pavers, sealant must be applied.
COST EFFECTIVE: If deformation should occur due to shifting of the base, the structure can easily be repaired by removing individual pavers, re-leveling, and then reinstalling the pavers.
COOL UNDER YOUR FEET: Due to the ingredients, pavers stay cooler under your feet. They have been measured to be as cool, or cooler than acrylic decks.
SAFETY: In both wet and dry conditions, pavers provide a safe surface to walk upon.
The high number of joints in the surface facilitates the drainage of water from rain.
Pavers do not require time to cure. Unlike concrete, which can take 3 to 5 days before being ready for traffic, paver structures can be used immediately after installation.
